Sunday 14th October

In the cup Tansley made it past Walthamstow (see Cup page).  While in the league there were plenty of goals in two great games…

Sunday 30th September

Most of our teams were in County Cup action.  Not all results have come through but we know of wins for Rayners Lane (Middx) and Garston (Herts), although Abbey narrowly lost out in Herts.

In the league Interwood are off and running while Maccabi made it three wins from three.

Sunday 23rd September

The weather made an early impact on the schedule, the heavy rains putting paid to the games at Bushey, Jamrock and Turkish Masters.  But in the two games that were played last years top two shared 16 goals without reply in their impressive wins.

Congratulations to Interwood, winners of the 1st piece of silverware of the season in the annual 9-a-side at Winchmore Hill!

The fixtures through to the end of September have been confirmed, with the remainder (including cup dates) to be updated shortly as soon as the counties firm up their dates.

Remaining teams in County Cup action

League AGM

The League AGM took place  on the 4th July and was attended by all clubs other than Abbey who were unable to make it.  The updated rules for the season were presented by Theo and passed by all, the new teams were welcomed and the cup draw was made – see HERE

The league is in great shape with half a dozen further teams having expressed a desire to join.

A good competitive season played in the right spirit is looked forward to by all.
